The U.S. Bowling Congress is wrapping up its five month stay in Albuquerque, and the convention center is calling it a big success.
Officials say more than 100,000 people headed to Albuquerque for the bowling competition.
Convention center officials say visitors pumped in somewhere between $75 million and $100 million into the city's economy.
"A lot of cities want this event, but with our standing, this is the second time we've hosted, and we've done is so successfully, it's the largest attended bowling event outside of Reno," said Dale Lockett of the Albuquerque Convention Center.
The convention center says the event rotates between several cities across the country and officials hope to bring it back in the next 8 years.
