Taos Municipal Schools move to remote learning Friday amid threats
TAOS, N.M. — Taos Municipal Schools will be moving to remote learning for the entire school day Friday, Aug. 18 due to “a possible threat to student and staff safety.”
The school district is reportedly working with law enforcement to investigate and assess the possible threat, as well as review safety measures at various campuses.
Parents and students with information about possible threats of harm are asked to immediately contact the Taos Police Department.
Students are asked to log on to Canvas to access their assignments Friday.
