EB I-40 off-ramps reopen after morning closure

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Officers with the Albuquerque Police Department shut down I-40 eastbound off-ramps from San Mateo to Eubank due to extremely icy conditions Thursday morning.

Police said multiple vehicles had slid off the road.

Crews worked to resolve the issues "as quickly and safely as possible."

As of 10 a.m., the eastbound off-ramps were reopened to commuters.
