Another Minnesota player enters transfer portal as Pitino looks to build Lobo program

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- With every passing day, the Minnesota Golden Gophers are losing player after player. On Tuesday, Martice Mitchell entered the transfer portal.

He is 6’9" and would have three years of eligibility left.

In a round about way, Lobo head coach Richard Pitino, who came from Minesota, said he is open to taking anybody and everybody to help the Lobos win next season.

"We’re going to look to add some pieces in the spring, for sure, that can come in and make an immediate impact right away," he said.
