Dyer has NFL ambitions

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Tyson Dyer is trying to become the latest Lobo punter to make the NFL.

He worked out for six NFL teams last week at the UNM Pro Day.

So far, he’s traveled to Hawaii, Arizona, and Oklahoma for workouts.

Dyer is training every day while finishing up his master’s degree at UNM in business.

"Everything leading up to this pro day has been a pretty full schedule, but you know I’ve enjoyed the challenge, and I’ve enjoyed staying focused on football," he said.
