True Heroes: Mary Ann Cortese

The project was still in the planning stages when retired teacher Mary Ann Cortese began working with the Bosque Redondo Memorial. She led the efforts to correct a problem with the exhibit’s initial designs and made sure that missing Native voices were included in a powerful way.
