True Heroes: Doris Fields

Doris Fields has been a nurse, professor, artist and advocate. She’s helped mothers, families, migrants – and her poetry is read at vigils for the Holocaust and school shootings. Kindness and tolerance are her mantras, and that’s just part of the reason Doris is a New Mexico Magazine True Hero.
