New Mexico United takes part in foot golf tournament

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Soccer balls on a golf course often doesn’t go well, unless you’re a New Mexico United player raising money for a good cause.

United players played foot golf at Sandia Golf Course before their Fourth of July match. Teams kicked balls into special-marked holes throughout the course.

All of the tournament’s proceeds will go to the Somos Unidos Foundation.
