ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Some dry air and heat will sizzle in from the west and push scattered storms eastward Thursday in and around New Mexico.
Triple digits are forecast Thursday for Las Cruces and Deming. Both cities are under a heat advisory. Otherwise, triple-digit temperatures will be slim pickings.
Isolated showers are forecast Thursday in eastern New Mexico. Ruidoso will have the best chance and Roswell could see storms.
Up north, places like Raton, Roy and Santa Fe could see some storms.
If you like the 80s and 90s, this is your day. It’s going to get hot very soon.
Meteorologist Brandon Richards explains more in his full forecast in the video above.
