APD: Pedestrian killed near 4th and Candelaria
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police are in the area of 4th and Candelaria in northwest Albuquerque, investigating a crash that left a pedestrian dead overnight.
Officers responded around 5:30 a.m. to investigate what they described as a “vehicle vs. pedestrian” crash. They arrived and found one person dead.
Albuquerque police haven’t released any further details. However, officers are still at the scene so delays are expected. Avoid the area.
Last night, APD also investigated a fatal crash that claimed the life of a bicyclist. It happened at Eubank and Constitution around 8:30 p.m.
