Make-A-Wish recipient celebrates one-year anniversary of his wish on World Wish Day

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — A 17-year-old Make-A-Wish recipient celebrated the one-year anniversary of his wish on World Wish Day.
In 2020, Sam Neale’s wish was to give back to health care workers on the front lines of the pandemic, so he received $50,000 in donations to put together care packages for the workers at Presbyterian Hospital.
Sam was able to create around 200 kits total.
With the help of the Jennifer Riordan Foundation, coffee and donuts were delivered to 750 local health professionals at Lovelace, Presbyterian, and UNM Hospital in honor of Sam’s wish.
