Crews respond to fire near Albuquerque recycling plant

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Multiple fire crews worked overnight to contain a large commercial fire in northeast Albuquerque.
24 units from AFR and Bernalillo County Fire responded to a commercial fire at 5021 Edith around 9 p.m. Tuesday. The building was deemed a total loss Wednesday morning.
Evacuations were put in place as, according to BernCo Fire Department, propane tanks were exploding due to the fire.
Authorities closed Edith north of Comanche and south of Montgomery.
