ABQ native Blackstone scores dream job, makes MLB history

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Back on Opening Day in April, Albuquerque native Kara Blackstone made Major League Baseball history. She is among four women that are official scorekeepers for MLB teams. Blackstone worked Opening Day with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
KOB 4 sports anchor Brandon Ortega spoke with Blackstone in Phoenix. She shared her journey from growing up in Albuquerque to working her dream job.
