Eddie Garcia: Dry conditions, record highs remain Tuesday

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Conditions will remain hot and dry Tuesday as places in southern New Mexico will see triple-digit temperatures and elsewhere will not be far off.

Temperatures will be well into the 80s, even in places such as the northern mountains – and getting into the 90s in places such as the Albuquerque metro. Some lower-elevation areas won’t quite get into the triple-digits but they will see high-90s.

Winds continue, it’s springtime in New Mexico.
