Suspect in custody following SWAT standoff in NE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Albuquerque Police Department’s SWAT team responded to help detectives detain a felony suspect Tuesday evening.

Police say the suspect was barricaded inside an apartment at an apartment complex at 5801 Eubank Boulevard NE.

The suspect, Roman Robert Clemente Jr., was taken into custody. Police say he was arrested on a warrant for armed robbery. He will be booked into the Metropolitan Detention Center.
