ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Some places in northern New Mexico are seeing some relief from precipitation falling Tuesday.
Rain has fallen in Las Vegas, near where the Calf Canyon and Hermits Peak Fire is burning. In Raton, some snow is even falling and high temperatures are set to barely get out of the 40s.
Storm chances are also present in eastern New Mexico where some wild weather already struck Monday. In western New Mexico, conditions are warmer, windier and drier.
Temperatures are all over the board as some places, such as Roswell, are seeing 80s Tuesday, while those areas in northern New Mexico will be just above freezing. By the end of the week, some places – like Roswell – will be back in the triple-digits.
