APD: 2 in custody following standoff near Coors and Bluewater

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — There was a standoff at the Circle K at Coors and Bluewater Thursday afternoon.
Albuquerque police said a man fled a stolen vehicle and was barricaded inside the convenience store. Officers believed the man could be armed, and drivers were urged to avoid the area.
Just before 3:30 p.m., authorities said two individuals safely exited the store and were taken into custody.
