Man accused of shooting, killing mom’s boyfriend in northwest Albuquerque home
Police say Paul Otero took his mom's boyfriend's gun and killed him with it inside a home near Coors and Sequoia.
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police arrested a suspect for a deadly shooting in the northwest part of the city early Tuesday evening.
Police say Paul Otero took his mom’s boyfriend’s gun and killed him with it inside a home near Coors and Sequoia.
According to APD, Otero’s mother says her son is bipolar and schizophrenic.
When he was arrested, Otero allegedly told officers he believed he was a danger to other people.
He’s charged with murder and is in jail Wednesday night.
