UNM football great Don Perkins passes away

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — UNM football lost one of the greats Thursday – Don Perkins has passed away at the age of 84.
He was All-American for the Lobos in the 1950s, leading the nation in kick-off returns.
Perkins had a great NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys, and was inducted into the Cowboys’ Ring of Honor in 2006.
His number, 43, was retired by the Lobos.
