Metro Public Safety Day event coming May 7 to Isleta Amphitheater

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Metro Public Safety Day is May 7 and New Mexico public safety and military community members will be gathering at Isleta Amphitheater for the day.

From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the amphitheater’s parking lot, the public will be able to meet, talk with and give thanks to military and other first responder personnel as a part of the family-friendly community open house. 54 organizations from throughout New Mexico will be represented and vehicles, equipment and even aircraft will be on display.

Danielle Todesco talked with BCFD Lt. Robert Arguelles about the Metro Public Safety Day and Recruiting Event coming up this Saturday.
