Exploring the beautiful Bisti Badlands in New Mexico

FARMINGTON, N.M. — The Bisti/De-Na-Zin Wilderness is hidden a few miles south of Farmington.
The location was known to be a swamp about 65 million years ago. It was a home to prehistoric animals.
It’s now about 45,000 acres of badlands, and a popular tourist attraction.
