High school state cross country meet wraps with 5A championships

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The high school state cross country meet wrapped up in Albuquerque Saturday with new 5A champions.
For the girls, Eldorado’s Laurynn Sisneros took first and helped the Eagles finish second as a team.
Rio Rancho High School took the girls team championship title.
On the boys side, Piedra Vista’s Makua Harvey became the new 5A champion.
Cleveland High School won the boys team title.
