Lobo women’s basketball topples Air Force, 80-66

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — After two weeks of COVID protocols, the Lobo women’s basketball team returned to the court Tuesday.
Air Force was leading by 8 points at the half.
In the third quarter, Roswell grad Jaedyn De La Cerda came in clutch. She had 16 points for the night.
LaTaysca Duff also showed out with five three-pointers. She also scored in double digits with 31 points.
The Lobos pulled away to win 80-66 for their third straight win.
The two teams will face off again Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. MST.
