ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- Jamal Mashburn Jr. entered the transfer portal Thursday.
He played for Richard Pitino at Minnesota.
The Mashburns have a connection to the Pitinos. Jamal Mashburn Sr. played for Rick Pitino at Kentucky.
It’s not clear whether Mashburn Jr. is considering a transfer to UNM following the hiring of Pitino.
