Pitching expected to be a major strength for UNM’s baseball team

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM baseball team will begin its season Thursday against Gonzaga.
The game is part of the Sunrise tournament in Arizona.
UNM will also face Oregon State and Kasas State.
Head Coach Ray Birmingham said the Lobos’ strengths will come from the pitching staff and the local players.
"We got about 13 pitchers here," he said. "They can help on any weekend and be a shut out."
