ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Sandia baseball is one of the hottest teams in the state. 10 straight wins coming off back to back district titles for the first time since 1981.

Now they’re chasing a blue trophy. Matadors open the state tournament at home Friday with Mayfield.
