UNM struggles against UAB in Las Vegas Invitational

LAS VEGAS – UAB bested UNM in the first round of the Las Vegas Invitational, 86-73, on Thanksgiving.
UNM’s Jamal Mashburn Jr. led the Lobos with a career-high 26 points.
UAB’s Jordan Walker also earned a career-high 26 points.for the Blazers.
UNM will play the Towson Tigers in the consolation game Friday at 7 p.m. (TV: FS2).
