UNM women’s basketball team headed to WNIT

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The UNM women’s basketball team has been invited to participate in the WNIT.

In the first round, the Lobos will travel to Ft. Worth to play undefeated Cal Baptist.

The Lobos were not selected to compete in the NCAA tournament despite winning the Mountain West Conference regular season title.

The game will tipoff this Friday at 7 p.m. in Fort Worth, Texas.
