Weir hopes players take inspiration from Maluach’s consistent performance

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.- The UNM men’s basketball team will play one more game ahead of the conference tournament.
UNM will take on CSU on March 3.
The Lobos will head into the tournament as the 11 seed. It’s still not clear who they will face in the first round.
Coach Paul Weir is hoping his team will take a page out of Makuach Maluach’s book. He’s consistently been the bright spot for the team this season.
"He’s been terrific. He’s carried the torch for us all year long," Weir said. "You have to hope that the rest of these guys are learning from this and growing from this."
