Love 4 Pets: Christy and Iris in Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — We’re showing you two pets from the Eastside Animal Shelter in Albuquerque who want to make your home their home.

First, meet Christy.

Christy is a 3-year-old black German Shepherd mix who is a gentle soul with a quiet charm. Christy is a little shy but she quickly warms up. She is an affectionate companion who loves nothing more than to take a relaxing walk by your side.

Christy is eager to find a loving home where she can blossom into the loyal friend she was always meant to be.

Next, meet Iris.

Iris is a 3-year-old black American Pit Bull Terrier mix. Iris is a sweet, loving pet who will make you the center of her world. She has puppy energy and fitness but the calm maturity of an adult. She walks “beautifully” on a leash, staying close to her person and only rarely pulling to sniff an interesting smell along the path.
