2 found dead in SW Albuquerque home

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police are investigating a deadly shooting.

An Albuquerque Police Department spokesman said officers were called out to a home on 8th Street, near Atlantic, around 10:30 p.m. Tuesday night. According to APD, the 911 caller said they had found their parents shot and unresponsive.

Upon arrival, police found a woman and a man dead inside the home with apparent gunshot wounds.

Authorities said officers also found a two-year-old on the scene, who was unharmed.

Homicide detectives are now investigating. Information is limited at this time.
