AFR: 2 people swept away in arroyo get out on their own
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque Fire Rescue was called to multiple locations around the metro following several reports of victims in the rushing water.
A powerful storm brought hail and flooded streets to the metro Tuesday afternoon.
Fire officials say two people that were unaccounted for were able to get out of an arroyo on their own. According to AFR, they were not injured, and all victims have been accounted for.
Crews are clearing their designated flood channel rescue locations and returning to quarters.
