ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The investigation is beginning into what caused an American Airlines jet and a U.S. Army helicopter to collide midair in DC Wednesday night, presumably killing everyone on board.
Part of the potential problem is Reagan National Airport and joint base Anacostia-Bolling share a congested airspace.
It’s similar to our situation in Albuquerque, where the Sunport and Kirtland Air Force share runways and airspace.
