Asian Expo + Marketplace coming to Balloon Fiesta Park this weekend

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — This weekend, you can patronize local Asian businesses and experience different Asian cultures at the Asian Expo + Marketplace, taking place August 19-20 at Balloon Fiesta Park.

The event will feature local vendors, performers and, of course, good food to enjoy. All ticket proceeds will benefit the Asian Business Collaborative organization focused on supporting Asian and Pacific Islander-owned businesses in New Mexico.

This morning, Vocal Arts and Opera Studio owner Renato Estacio performed to give a preview of the entertainment this week. Estacio, Asian Business Collaborative Volunteer Executive Director Kristelle Siarza and Soo Bak Seoul Bowl owner John Katrinak joined KOB 4 Mornings to discuss details of the expo and marketplace.
