BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Soon there will be a new sheriff in the county and members of the public will get to address them before next month’s primary election.
The Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office Advisory and Review Board is inviting all sheriff candidates to introduce themselves during a public comment period at their monthly meetings.
The meetings take place on the second Friday of each month at 11 a.m., with the next one coming May 13 at 11 a.m. The meeting will take place online and is the only meeting set for before the June 7 primary election.
The public comment period during the meetings is near the start of the meeting, meaning interested speakers should be present at the start of the meeting. Speakers must sign up in advance and are allowed two minutes to make comment.
To sign up for public comment, call 505-468-1332 or visit this page.
