ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police officers are investigating a shooting that reportedly happened at Guadalupe Plaza, north of 4th Street and Montaño.
When police arrived on scene around 4:30 p.m. Thursday, officers found a person shot. The victim was taken to the hospital, where they are in critical condition.
Police say a preliminary investigation shows the victim was shot by a man, and then that man and a woman fled the building. Once outside, they stole a car, and then crashed that car. They were last seen near the zoo, according to police.
Police say no one else was injured, and no one is in custody at this time.
