ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police officers were called to a shooting at 13921 Indian School Road NE near the Embudo Trailhead Thursday evening.

Police said someone called 911 and said one person was shot and critically injured. In an update, an APD spokesman said the victim died from their wounds.

Homicide detectives are taking over the investigation. Information is limited at this time.
