Amber Alert canceled after 1-year-old boy found safe
LOS LUNAS, N.M. – One-year-old Dakota Shadrick has been found safe after an Amber Alert was issued Tuesday night.
New Mexico State Police say Shadrick was taken by his biological mother, 27-year-old Sonya Marie Lucero but was reported to be found safe around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.
Authorities said Dakota and Sonya had been seen on Monday, July 18 around 9:30 a.m. in Los Lunas, before the alert was issued.
For future reference, anyone with any information regarding New Mexico Amber Alert is asked to call the New Mexico State Police in Los Lunas at (505) 841-9256 option 1 or dial 911.
