APD: 1 dead in fatal shooting near Coors and Central

UPDATE: Police are now searching for 13-year-old Marcos Barela. They accuse Barela of shooting and killing 23-year-old Sydney Wilson who confronted a group of teens driving her stolen car.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead Monday night.

Police say officers responded to reports of shooting in the Coors and Central area around 8:48 p.m. Monday.

Upon arrival, officers found a person dead with gunshot wounds.
