ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Homicide detectives are investigating after police say they found one person dead Tuesday morning at a home in northeast Albuquerque.

Someone called 911, reporting they discovered a dead body inside a home on Calle del Rancho, just west of Carlisle and Constitution.

Officers arrived around 10 a.m. Tuesday and confirmed the report. According to APD, evidence at the scene prompted them to call homicide detectives to take over the investigation.

Traffic is shut down in the area.
