APD investigates fatal shooting in downtown Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Albuquerque police are investigating a fatal shooting in downtown Albuquerque.

Police say officers responded around 11:45 p.m. Friday to a ShotSpotter activation at 100 Central Ave SW.

Upon arrival, officers found a man dead.

APD’s Homicide Unit is now investigating.
