APD: Man arrested for fatally shooting friend at NE Albuquerque apartment complex

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – Albuquerque police have arrested a man who they say shot and killed a longtime friend at his apartment.
Marcos Rodriguez is accused of shooting Vicente Arviso Friday night.
Police say the shooting happened at the Copper Terrace apartments on Chelwood Park, near Tramway.
According to police, the two were drinking, and Rodriguez pulled out a gun after the two started arguing.
Officers say Arviso wasn’t armed, and they found his body shortly after.
Rodriguez is facing murder charges.
