APD: One fatally shot in SE Albuquerque

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Police launched an investigation overnight into a deadly shooting in southeast Albuquerque.
Officers responded around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday to a gunshot detection alert at the 800 block of Cardenas Drive.
Upon arrival, officers found a man lying in the street with at least one gunshot wound to his torso. The man, however, succumbed to his wounds at the scene, which prompted homicide detectives to be called in.
