Brett Luna: Flood watches posted north, PM storms likely north and south

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Storms are likely in northern and southern New Mexico and flood watches are posted in the north in anticipation.

Places in central New Mexico, along and near the I-40 corridor, will see dry conditions, which will especially be a relief for Gallup after I-40 was flooded near there Tuesday.

In southern New Mexico, rain is expected over Ruidoso, Las Cruces and possibly in Roswell toward the evening.
