ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — Triple-digit temperatures are set to hit statewide later this week but, first, we have a storm chance thrown in for some parts of the state.
Elevated storm chances will linger toward late-Tuesday afternoon and into the evening in northeast New Mexico, near where 80 MPH winds, 2-inch hail and heavy rain were reported Monday night.
Elsewhere, temperatures will be mainly in the 90s while some places will see 80s and 100s.
