ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – It’s time for New Mexicans to decide who will represent us in Congress, with the second election using revised district boundaries.
This debate is for New Mexico’s 1st Congressional District, which covers most of Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Torrance, Guadalupe, De Baca, and Lincoln counties. That includes portions of Valencia, Otero, and Chaves counties.
Running to represent this district is incumbent Democratic U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury. Challenging her is Republican Steve Jones.
They both joined us in our KOB 4 studio Thursday night.
