Crews work to contain ‘Siren Fire’ in Los Lunas

LOS LUNAS, N.M. – Three local fire departments are working to contain a bosque fire in a heavily wooded area, west of the Rio Grande in Los Lunas.
Fire officials are calling it the “Siren Fire,” and it’s about half an acre in size.
The Los Lunas fire chief says that fortunately, the winds are working in their favor.
No word on what caused the fire.
