BERNALILLO COUNTY, N.M. — Fentanyl has had a big impact on our community and county officials are highlighting that with Fentanyl Awareness Week.
It began Sunday with the screening of the movie, “All the World is Sleeping,” which featured a community discussion.
Through October 30, there are a series of outreach events going on. There will also be candlelight vigils to remember those lost to drugs. They will also be held in support of anyone continuing to struggle from its effects.
Commissioner Adriann Barboa is behind this initiative so she stopped by to talk about it.
