Final Albuquerque Summerfest of 2023 this weekend
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — All that back-to-school talk means summer is wrapping up and the final Albuquerque Summerfest of 2023 is this weekend.
The Westside Summerfest is this Saturday, August 5, from 5-10 p.m. at Ventana Ranch Community Park. The final Summerfest of the year is family-friendly and free, just like the other two fests.
The Westside Summerfest will feature 12 food trucks and 42 local vendors. The on-site Cantina is all set to have 14 breweries, wineries and distilleries.
Kids can also take advantage of some free activities, such as free face painting and inflatable jump houses. They can even Fight a Knight from 5:30-7:30 p.m, thanks to the Society for Creative Anachronism’s local chapter.
The SCA will also perform Middle Ages-era court dancing, melee battles and rapier duels by The Shops.
For many, the big draw of Westside Summerfest will be the two music stages with all Albuquerque bands:
WEST STAGE
- Reviva – 5 p.m.
- Chris Dracup: Funk of the West – 6:15 p.m.
- Silver Sky Blues Band – 7:30 p.m.
- Str8 Shot – 8:45 p.m.

- Big K and Blue Train – 6:30 p.m.
