Golf tournament raises $133K for local communities

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. – The 2022 Community Charity Golf Classic will be giving local charities a big helping hand in August. 

The golf tournament raised $133,267 to be shared by this year’s community non-profit recipients, Community for Learning, S.A.F.E. House New Mexico, and Mandy’s Farm.

Mercedes-Benz, Porsche, and Audi of Albuquerque Dealer Principal Managing Partner, Thomas Bohlman, has been the title sponsor for the last 18 years, and along with other local community sponsors. 

Last year’s tournament was canceled due to COVID, but that didn’t stop them from raising nearly $122,500. 

The check will be given to the local charities Aug. 9 at 10 a.m. in front of the Mercedes-Benz Albuquerque.
